Not for me as I prefer lighter colours with a hint of green in Aquas.

The material looks very grayish and highly included. The photos on the GIA website show prettier faceted stones. Maybe it’s the lighting.

Definitely a new look for aqua, imo. The GIA article notes "reportedly" for the origin location so it's always a question of where they are truly from and what's been done to them. But the inclusion pattern looked unique. They're almost heading toward teal sapphire in color. Pretty spendy, too!

Super blue for aquamarine though I also like them brighter. I read they bought the whole mine, or rather the find? Is that possible to determine? If so, they have pretty cozy pricing freedom, monopoly.
