Light Sapphire Halo?

Since we''re going the custom route with engagement ring, my girlfriend asked about potentially having light blue sapphires used as the halo around the center stone in this type setting.

Is this doable? Can a place obtain enough small light blue sapphire''s to do this? The custom ring will only have the verticle facing halo, and that is what she is wondering about.

Sure it''s possible! However, I wouldn''t go about sourcing the stones yourself. You''ll end up paying too much and have a hard time finding them. Most reputable jewelers that do custom work should be able to source small light blue melee stones for you to include in the ring.
