Life is good because: I have the day off tomorrow, so I'm not waking up at 6:20 in the morning, and I don't have to spend the day running around for the highschoolers that are scheduled to come in for a career round-table at my office. I'm sleeping in, and then I'm going to get my nails done. Wa-hoo!

So tell me, why is life good for you?

IndyLady, I often say life is good! It sounds like you have a great day planned tomorrow.

So why is life good for me? Well hopefully I get my new car tomorrow or Saturday. I have been without a car for over 2 weeks now so I am pretty excited to have a car.

Thanks, IndyLady. It is a metallic gray. I bought some nail polish the same color so I painted my nails with it tonight. Sleep in tomorrow for me.

My FI is coming over to stay with me this weekend and we're off to view wedding venues!

How's the grad school hunt going Indy? Are you still considering the Uk? I must post you some info if you are!

Life is good for me because we are finished with buying the ring

Life is good because I am retired and my time is pretty much my own.

Life is good for me because it's Friday and the weekend is here. My husband won't be working, so we'll do something together (don't have any plans yet though).

Life is good for me because DH has finally gone back to work this week after being unemployed for almost 2 years.

LIfe is good because I only work half days on Fridays. My sister is coming to visit this afternoon and we will go to a yoga class together. LIfe is good because I have 2 cute as can be dogs and a great DH.

Life is good for me because it's my last day of unemployment! I'm spending a nice relaxing day followed by a happy hour with all of my friends who already work at my new company. Then on Monday I get to start a new job!

I also get to pick up my ering tomorrow - the jewelry store is making some modifications (adding claw prongs! among other things) and I'm so excited to get it back.

Oh, and life is good because my bunnies are snuggly and cute

Life is good because my husband has the weekend off (yea!) and we get to spend it together. I love that man. (sorry for mushiness, Im super excited for the weekend, can you tell?)

Life is good because my husband just wrote to say that his boss brought up the subject of having my husband possibly work from home occasionally, especially when the weather gets bad. This is good because my husband currently has to commute about 45 min-1 hour each way every day. It's not the worst commute in the world, but he thinks that even driving 30 minutes is horrible.

Lucky, I am still very much interested! Right now, my top choice is a water science program at Oxford. http://www.geog.ox.ac.uk/graduate/msc-wspm/ Its outside of my academic "expertise," but related to my current internship. I'll revive the old thread this evening. I need to run, but I will be back soon to comment back!

Life is good because my parents are here for their annual 2-month visit, and we're all going to the County Fair!

Life is good b/c I got up this morning I am can walk, talk, and am fully functional. Might seem cheesy but I try not to forget the things I take for granted daily that are gifts. Many people cannot function on their own, are in chronic pain, severe disabilities.

Life is good because my family and friends are all in good health. I have a beautiful little girl that makes me smile even in the darkest moments.

Life is good because I have supportive people in my life who love me as I am.

Life is good because I have a soft bed at night, safe place to live, food in my fridge, and gas in my car.

Life is good because I finally feel like I found my calling professionally and am taking the steps needed to follow that.

Life is good because I take the time to count my blessings instead of making myself a victim. Happiness is an inside job and for me my perspective is DIRECTLY linked to my happiness.

Life is good because I had a birthday party that everyone enjoyed for my soon-to-be 9 year old son! They grow up so fast!

We spent 2 hours cutting and hauling branches at my Gramma's today in the ungodly heat/humidity. When we were done, I let the kids slip into the shallow end of her pool and I dove in-clothes and all. I had told them it was just a quick in and out to cool down, but then I was like, Um, ok, just a minute, mommy is doing it again. Ahhhh. That is my good moment of the day.
