LGK, you OK?

Just noticed that LGK hadn't posted since Oct. 12th, which seems unusual ... anybody know if she's okay?

Nope, still no response. She's got an FB account, but she' not very active on it. I'll check to see if it's been updated.

ETA: hasn't been updated, but that's not unusual. Someone left her a happy birthday note so she's hopefully okay.

Hopefully, she is OK. I always enjoy her posts about antique diamond jewelry. Sometimes I wonder if I actually have in the past met her in person because I often visit Seattle antique shops.

I've been thinking about her too and am worried she's not been around.

School is busy right now so I'm not sure when I can fit a shopping trip in, but if she doesn't pop in soon I'm going to go see if she is okay. I know there were also problems with her mom's health...

I was thinking the same thing but wasn't sure if that's appropriate since I've not met her in person before.

Oh, and a local jeweler down the road there is going out of business...not sure if you know which one I mean (starts with an S).... I stopped in but the sale prices were more than what regular prices on the internet are. That was a few weeks back. Maybe the prices have gone down. lol

I've never met her in person either, but am really worried about her. It has been a bit since she's been around. I think it would be okay to stop in and say "hi" to her and make sure she is okay.

Hmmm.... I haven't been over to the shops for awhile. I really should set a day aside to go exploring.

Wow, I didn't realize it had been a whole year. VL, bumping your bump ... She was such a valuable contributor, and it was such a sudden departure. I hope all is well and that she just got caught up in a different interest!

LGK was very important in my personal growth.

She (and Packrat, and others) helped me realize that people with tattoos weren't scary or weird. I know, it's a stupid presumption, in hindsight, but I'm from the old school, when tattoos were literally for sailors only.

I hope she comes back, at least to say hello.

I was early for a lesson this last week so thought I'd stop in to see if I could find LGK. I thought I knew which place she works/worked but couldn't find her.

I'll see if I can check a couple of the other shops too if I get up there early again. I hope she's okay!
