letting off some steam

Bear with me a minute as I get some anger out of my system. I know many will say, "well, that figures", and that''s what I thought too but I am still ticked. If any of you remember, my first "good" B&M maul store experience was at Christian Bernard. I liked their customer service, but later found out here that I was getting ripped off on the diamond. Well, my furure fiance loved the mounting that we found there and it wasn''t very expensive. So I have been trying via email to get ahold of them for a week now and when I did the guy said it was their policy that they would only sell their mountings with their diamonds. Figures Now I need to really look for a mounting. If anyone knows wheere to find a good 14K white gold channel set mounting for less than 1,000 (perferably more like half that) PLEASE let me know!

Yes, I guess it would be described as a solitare with chanel set side stones. I dont really like the ones that are on precisionset.com though. They look a little too big (dont really want the ring to come up around the diamond like they have it) Thanks
