Are the Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie datng anyone?
When is William getting engaged?
Who is Harry dating now?
What are the names of Prince Edward''s children? Are they ever seen in publicc? I don''t even know the gender of his children (Wikipedia did not have that info

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sophie,_Countess_of_Wessex

From Wikipedia (under Marriage):

In December 2001, the Countess was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital after feeling unwell, whereupon it was discovered that she was suffering from a potentially life-threatening ectopic pregnancy. It was announced in 2003 that she was again pregnant, and she gave birth to her daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, on 8 November of that year. It was, however, a premature birth, resulting from a sudden placental abruption that placed both the mother and child at risk, and the Countess had to undergo an emergency caesarean section at Frimley Park Hospital, while the Earl of Wessex rushed back from Mauritius. The Countess returned to Frimley Park Hospital on 17 December 2007, to give birth, again by caesarean section, to her son, James, Viscount Severn.[5] The children, per prior agreement between the Queen and their parents, will not use the titles of Prince and Princess, nor will they be Royal Highnesses; their surname will be Windsor.

Has there ever been a husband and wife who were called King and Queen at the same time, or is it always only one or the other?

OK, let''s see.

Yes I believe Sarah is living under Andy''s roof. Rumour has it she is in a spot of financial bother and her latest US business venture has failed. She also lost the WeightWatchers contract. I think she may be a bit strapped for cash.

Beatrice does have a steady boyfriend I believe (I''ll go and find out who for you). Not sure about Eugenie. Beatrice, I believe, has just run in the London Marathon. She certainly dropped a ton of weight in preparation for it.

Edward & Sophie''s children are Louise and James.

I don''t know how much support there is for Camilla to be Queen. I think opposition against her as lessened over time. Does that result in her increased popularity. I am not sure. It probably depends on who you ask.

I think Charles will be King, but his reign will be short.

Hmm, don't know a whole lot but I'll answer what I know!
Kenny: Yes there can be a King and Queen...but ONLY when the King is the born heir. His wife will be Queen. If they have no sons, their daughter will be Queen. Her husband will be a Consort. (I believe...correct me if I'm wrong!)
ETA yes, here we go, from this website:
"In british monarchy, the husband of a female monarch does not have any special status, rank or privileges."
"The wife of a male monarch takes on her husbands rank and style upon marrying, becoming Queen."

Harry is back with Chelsey Davey I believe. It's a little on again/off again I think. She's popular.

Speculation is mounting about William's engagement. According to commentators, the fact that Kate has been lying low in the eyes of the media lately points to an imminent engagement. Kate is very popular.

Charles will probably be King yes, once the Queen dies. Camilla is tolerated

It seems to me that in the eyes of the public, she stole Charles from Diana and doesn't have the same warmth and charisma. I dunno, I don't have a problem with her. I believe she can become Queen once Charles is King, but I'm not totally sure...there's controversy surrounding that.

Thanks for the answers so far...are there other juicy tidbits we''re missing?

There used to be so much "stuff" going on when Diana and Fergie were still married to their princes.....

Are Edward and Sophie getting along? What about Princess Anne? Haven''t heard about her or her children for a long time. Did she ever re-marry?

I believe that Queen Elizabeth''s parents were King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. If I''m remembering correctly, King George was rather frail and his wife had to take on many of his responsibilities without appearing to do so . The Queen Mom was very much loved by the people due to her charisma and support of various charities.

As far as the current Queen stepping down to allow Charles to become king, I doubt very much that she will, as when she was crowned she vowed to reign until her death. She might have changed her mind had Charles and Diana remained together, but now ''the Camilla factor'' makes that unlikely.

Best places to keep up with Royal news is:

Royalty Magazine
Hello Magazine

Official stuff can be found on the British Monarchy website.
I've been to the official website Gailey mentioned above, but my favorite haunt has long been The Royal Forums, which has a special section on the British monarchy. I've actually been a member for years. One can

subscribe to very specific threads, for example to one that keeps track of the current engagements of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. (I do subscribe to that one.) Dancing Fire often talks about

fights on his koi fora. On these fora, fights would tend to be between partisans of the two Princesses of Wales. However, the moderators are on their toes. Fighting is not allowed!!!

Many people have written that Queen Elizabeth would never have abdicated the throne under any circumstances because she is far too traditional and that she was raised to deplore the actions of Edward VIII. She is also said to scorn the "bicycle monarchs" of Scandinavia whom she does not think take the monarchy seriously. I think that that is why it was so painful for her to break with tradition and bow her head to the casket of Diana, Princess of Wales or agree to any change to the protocol regarding the flying of the flag at Buckingham Palace when she was in residence there.

In addition there are two kinds of queens, a queen regnant and a queen consort. Queen Elizabeth II is a queen regnant. Her mother was a queen consort.

I think thats the general attitude toward Camilla here, opposition has lessened but I wouldn''t say she is particularly popular.

wow - so many little details I didn''t know.. especially given I''m Canadian and we''re supposedly still so well linked with the monarchy..
