My son, David, loves all holidays...I thought I decorated the house for him but I realized my husband and I love it too...I would love to see your Halloween decorations!

Beautiful @MamaBee your home and decor are gorgeous! I love the classy touches of the holiday you have! I only have a couple pieces around since it’s just dh and me. :wink2:

I don't put my stuff up for long before halloween, so it's only going up next weekend - or maybe even the one after. I don't do anything much inside, but I bought a few extra pieces for outside this year, and will put them up, along with all the regulars. I'll post a photo when it's all in place.

I shared this on another thread, but here's something my DH made for me for this year. The decal can be changed out with other writing for other events. It's lit with LED light and will throw off a dim light at night - strong enough to be legible, not so strong as to make it look like a major shopping center!

This will go next to my black lamp post, which will have orange witches hats hanging on it. :mrgreen:

So pretty! We aren’t opening the door on Halloween either. I don’t think anyway. A few years ago we were snowed out, out of power another year and also had Superstorm Sandy so three years straight of cancelled Halloween. It was so nice! My kids are grown now, though we used to be the place for Halloween.
 
These days my halloween decoration is to stick the plugin pumpkin out the night of...lol When we lived in NE it was very different.

Thanks @Slick1 I loved seeing the little ones dressed up. One little girl told me I should get better candy next year! :lol:
 
David, as most of you know has Autism, so we will be decorating until we can’t! He’ll keep us young!

@MamaBee, your house looks awesome!!!! I love that your son loves it so much!

I haven't gone all out for Halloween in several years. We rarely get more than a handful of trick or treaters and my kids are old enough not to care about it lol! I love them @Gussie! You have such an eye! I could never put together a vignette...Your decorations are like something out of a magazine!

@Sally Brown Lol, we used to have huge Halloween parties. The kids loved it! We had a Haunted House inside and outside. We did a Carnivale theme one year and it was pretty scary! Adults would come too and it was always so much fun!
