Leon Mege Sizing

I''m leaning towards going with Leon for the setting for my gf''s engagment ring. Has anyone had any issues with his sizing? Does he tend to size a bit bigger or smaller? And if anyone had to get resized, how much does he charge?

it looks like he does it by 1/8 increments. i personally have been measured at brick and mortars and they say i am size 4.75, but i am concerned that on a hot day i might be slightly more. so if i went with leon i''d go 4 -5/8. hopefully other PSers can answer this question accurately, but that is my hunch.

Generally it''s best not to re-size a leon later down the road, especially if there is pave going down the side. Other people have had issues with this in the past.

If you are worried about sizing, you may want to have an insert put in that can be taken out later to go larger.

I had a ring made by Leon, told him my size, and it fits like a glove. I think if you can give him the correct size to begin with, you should be fine. I don''t think I''ve heard of anyone having a problem with this.

I have two Leon''s-a 3-stone that I had Leon make size 4.5 and I know it is a perfect size 4.5 because it fits on both of my ring fingers.The other was a very delicate pave band that I bought already made-size 4.25 and it is perfect!

Do you mean 4 7/8?

I have a Leon classic solitaire and the sizing is correct.

As long as you tell HIM the right size, that is the important thing!

Listen to Leon! He sized me and I felt it was too small. I asked him to go up in size, he did
and it''s too big!!

I am a freak about sizing, so gave him instructions to do a 5 full, and that''s what he did. It fits perfectly.

Thanks for all the replies. My biggest problem is that my girlfriend doesn't really wear jewelry and doesn't own a single ring that she wears on her left ring-finger.

We browsed through a B&M a few weeks ago and I casually asked the SA to check her size, and he told her she was a 7, using that keychain full of sizingrings. I just wasn't sure how accurate it was.

Any ideas on how I can get her size accurately without her getting too suspicious?

if she was a 7 with the sizing rings then that should be accurate. I always measure the same when I get sized with them.

I was curious, do you guys think a 4 7/8 and a 4.75 are a huge difference? Like I mentioned in the beginning, when I got measured at B&Ms I got 4.75 and it was in the afternoon in SF ( this equals kinda cold, low 60s ). I wanted to get 4 7/8 to play it safe for the hotter weather and bloating on some days, Lol. Will it be that much looser with a 4 7/8? I know a 5 is for sure loose on me.

Yes for me. 3.25 is way too loose for me but a 3.125 is a nice fit even in hot weather. I size all my rings to 3.125 so that it fits both my left and right hand.

I''d go with the 4 7/8. It''ll fit a little better once you add a wedding band.

Size 3 is tight for my right hand but fits my left hand nicely.
