I posted a thread a couple of week ago to ask for some support on how to cope with (I know I am pathetic

) the anxiety of waiting for my ring. I can''t seem to be able to locate that thread anymore but just want to say thanks to those who posted with your support and words of comfort.

Well, I called Leon last night and he said it''d be ready by the end of next week or week after, YAY!!

Btw, I wanted to also chit-chat about a new friend I recently met. She''s what you''d call a "tai-tai" (meaning rich wife). She''s the only real life tai tai that I personally know. I took her to a jewellery show in Singapore last weekend and helped her bought a 6.13 (I think?!) tcwt studs. Oh my Lord, they are ENORMOUS and look gorgeous on her. I very much enjoy looking at them, amongst her many other pieces of bling. But I tell you it is so very dangerous to know someone like this, LOL. God knows, I already suffer from DSS enough.

Shall I take pics of her new bling and post them on here? Assuming she''ll allow me.

Also, the other update I have is that JA is looking for my new upgrade (from my 3.02ct F VS2). I''ve asked Jim for a 4ct but am already thinking 5ct!! (I know I am eating my own words!! ). I am not sure what setting I will choose. The first step is find the stone first. There are so many gorgeous settings out there.

Can you gals and guys help me to stop spending?!! This is like an addiction. It is so BAD, GOOD but still BAD nonetheless, LOL!!

Eeeek!! I just went back and re-read my post. It's full of typos! How embarrassing!

Ellen, the studs look ridiculously big on me but on her they look just fine - beautifully big in fact. They don't droop at all. I think it's because she has fleshier earlobes and the holes are higher. They're kind of like in a martini setting but with 6 "sticks" (not sure what they're called). I think that helps too.

I hope Jim can find me a great stone too. I'd love for you to help me pick a setting, YAY, Ellen!
