For sale is a classic platinum Leon Mege pear setting for a round stone size 5-7/8. I bought from another PSer, whose center stone diamond measured 9.51-9.59 x 5.90mm. I put in a chrysoberyl but will remove prior to shipping, unless somebody is interested. The pears are 0.80 tcw H VS1 with a shape ratio of 1.53. The original seller said Perry selected them.

I have to say the setting is a dream, the workmanship exquisite, and very comfortable to wear. Great way to get Leon Mege quality ring second hand.

These pictures don’t show the chrysoberyl that well but more about the setting.

Um....any chance this could fit an 7.9mm round?

Drats. Yeah, the basket underneath may start to poke out a bit if I put a 7.9mm in there. Thanks anyways! Dust for a quick sale.
 
So do you think an 8.5mmish would fit?

SO beautiful! You really have a great eye with pulling together a gorgeous piece. I had been admiring this setting and LOVE the complete ring you have put together - The center stone just looks incredible it the setting !
