Anyone have an opinion on this line of stones?

I've been looking at antique type cuts, and as I'm very likely doing a Leon setting I was viewing their stone offerings. I've seen countless pictures and videos of the true antique line, as well as some authentic antique cushions. But I've not found near anything about the dynasty cut.

All I know is that it's a modified brilliant cushion with a basic shape outline of a traditional antique with a steep crown small table.

Looking to see if anyone has experience with one, or even some pictures.

I have rarely seen a LM stone called by a name. Post any pictures you have found and people can comment.

If you type in Dynasty Cut under the search tool versus GOG August Vintage Cushions you will get some info coming up and can read discussions about these stones.

I've tried searching. There's 1 thread that quickly gets derailed with zero info on these stones, and one more that points to it may be cut be the same cutter of the AVC

Leon has 2 branded lines. True antique, and dynasty. A good amount of true antique is in his public galleries. There's 1 dynasty cut cut ring and it's not much to go off picture wise.

Was just hoping anyone had personal experience with one.

I googled it on here and got quite a few posts under Dynasty Cut. GOG August Vintage cuts or ERD cushions are popular choices. I think Perry who works with Leon has a good eye for stones, but I can't comment on Leon's cushions, if you find one from them, post the stats or pics or a video link on here and people will tell you what they think of the stone in question. If you want to buy one from GOG I think Steven Kirsh is still taking cushions from them. (I won't get into the politics of who does and doesn't take each others stones.....)

If you are after a hybrid modern/old looking cushion it might be worth checking out ERD (Engagement Rings Direct) too.

Victor Canera (who I have worked with) does stunning pave and I believe he is getting some new cushions in this coming week, if you are after an antique style cushion, it might be worth checking him out as well.

Perhaps if you post the stats of the size, colour and clarity and the type of cushion (shape and style of cut) that you are looking for people on here are brilliant at making suggestions, even if you do go with a Dynasty Cut at least visually you will have something to compare it to.

I was just trying to learn more about the cut. It still goes through perry Chen who sources stones for Leon.

In general I've been looking at Leon's true antique line, gog AVC and premium cushions, victor canera cushion,
a cut beyond looked nice as well. I'm less focused on finding "the stone" I need right now, and more just researching what the options are.

I was also looking to anything that kept in line with the antique dimensions, namely to tall crown and small table, but tooka more brilliant cut like approach. It looked like that's what the dynasty cut was trying to accomplish.

As a general rule whatever I buy will be in the 1-1.5 ct range, h-k color, si2-vs2 clarity, and less than 6500$
