Hello everyone...

Are diamonds from leon mege all hearts and arrow?
Also are they superideal cut type ?
Are their diamonds better cut than BGD and ACA and Isee2?

They seem to be very strict in certificate request/

you probably will get more response in rocky talk, but are you talking about leon mege''s melees? I don''t think Leon sells loose diamonds unless someone else corrects me, maybe he can source a center stone for you

don''t know there, But all I have seen is Leon does mostly custom setting work and sources the melees in his settings. Maybe your are thinking a different vendor on here? James Allen? or GoodoldGold? or HPdiamonds, or WinkJones? or someone else?

D is right. He doesn''t sell diamonds per se. What he can do is source a center stone if you''re having a setting made by him. But most people purchase their own, especially rounds.

Ditto the ladies.

If you''re after an ideal cut, stick with the makes you mentioned.
Than, if that''s the direction you want, you can send that diamond to LM
to be set.

What did you mean by certificate request??

I think she is talking about the rings that he has in the for sale section. I go there often to drool. Those rings comes with center stones. And , emmm... to answer your question, nope I have no idea the quality cut of the center stone... I just know that they are beautiful.

Actually, I think I know why she is asking now. I just went and had a look, haven''t been on his site in months, seems he has started selling diamonds.

tulip, without any info on them, I have no idea how well they are (or aren''t) cut. Personally, if it was me, I''d stick with a vendor who gives lots of info and pics.

We absoluterly will!

Yeah, no way to say. He lists some of them as H&A, but some of those have tables and depths I wouldn''t want, nor expect from any of the reputable vendors we''re familar with that sell H&A''s. And unless he''s going to offer H&A pics, we''ll never know....

Hmm, who knew?!
Well, in typical Leon-esque fashion

, here is the directive, straight from his website:

This is the limited selection of stones qualified to be set in Leon Megé jewelry. The stones are listed at zero commission, so we urge you to do your homework and select just one stone. After you click "mail" link you will see a contact form opened in a new window. Please fill out all fields.
Stone reference number will be inserted automatically. We will reply with a copy of the certificate. If you are satisfied please arrange for a payment. We will email only one certificate. If you are asking for multiple certificates I will assume you have no intention of buying the stone. Questions - call me.

Soooo, definitely not the place to go to angst and dissect every nuance of a diamond, that''s for sure!

leon''s policy of only emailing 1 cert gives me the feeling of no second chance...

even we fail exam, we can retake the paper ya/..

so i am not comfortable with this... and i think he does not provide any other reports other than that piece of cert...

Trust me, you''re not missing out on anything, with the vendors/diamonds you have to choose from tulip. They don''t get any better.

I wouldn''t do business with someone who has such attitude. I''m surprised anyone does. . . notice his diamonds start at .80. . .

yes, i agree ... i will not be comfortable dealing with a vendor who tells you you can only choose 1 certificate.. and if ask more, means you are not interested>

i am one that needs comparison and details...to decide , afterall we are the customers and must be pampered with choices!!! right?
