Leon just shipped my two orders today (one e-ring and a pair of pave studs). My work order was for 4 weeks and it took a little over 6 weeks. I called early last week and requested my order be complete before his vacation.
I DID look back at the work-order and it states that the estimate is a guess and DOES NOT INCLUDE vacation time. His website also states that vacation time is not included in estimates. Estimates, therefore, are based on working days as he seems to take frequent vacation days.
This practice doesn''t impress me. When I receive a time estimate, I expect it to include all reasonable delays. If a professional knows that there is a scheduled vacation, then it should be included. I really wouldn''t like it if I received a 6 weeks quiote, waited and then called to find out that my order was delayed because everyone took off on vacation.Date: 6/22/2009 11:30:32 PM

Don''t be so quick to judge negatively. That''s the experience "asforhim" had with Leon. When I went to him last week to discuss my ring, he made me fully aware of his 2 week vacation and that it would be adding time onto my overall estimate.Date: 6/23/2009 5:55:10 AM
