Do I need to worry about leakage in the middle??

It almost looks like a large culet in the center. Do you have a real picture of the stone?

AGS accept this leakage because when it happens they find overall there is a sweet spot for the rest of the stone.

I do not like it in stones over 1.5ct.

On the plus side - we have 2 eyes, and as in the photo - you see a tiny tilt is enough to stop two of the 4 facets from showing leakage. Our 2 eyes provide that and so often we see sparkles from that leakage zone.

Have a look at this demo
http://www.ideal-scope.com/using_reference_chart_ASET.asp
and you can see what I mean from the second stone.

It is also why I prefer the hand held ASET and moving usage - it is tricky, but I always find myself rejecting a few stones that I would have selected on a front on view.

Hi Den,

Do you have an ASET image for the diamond also?

Lorelei, it is in this post, https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/princess-images-please-give-me-feedback.113896/. You will probably get to it in due time.

Just in case you miss that, here is the image.

Thanks SC! I just found it in the other thread also, I just saw there were 2 threads on the go.

Den the ASET looks good.

When I was talking to the folks at WF they said the diamond looked good. They did note that the center could have a possibility for leakage. I am sorry I had to posts going but I was having a hard time posting all the the images...but I have it figured out now. I have them holding the diamond. Lastly, here are the specs. How do they look in your eyes??

1.16C
5.68mm
L/W-1.00
Total depth-4.17mm or 73.4%
pavil depth-56.9%
pavil angle38.6%
crown height 12.7%
crown angle-28.2%
table size-66%
Thank you all so much for any and all feedback

I agree the ASET looks pretty good. So does the pic. So the real question is: Denlogal, does the dark spot in the center bother you?
You might want to look at other Princess cuts to see the kind of optical patterns that appeal most to you.

I answered in the other thread Den with the proportions, they look fine to me.

To be honest...I do have a concern about it only because I do not want her to be able to see it. I was told is would not be able to be seen...My dilema is that I need to have this DONE for next week when I leave the country...I need to decide in hours now....would it concern you at all or am I safe....Is this a good diamond?

I wish I could help you with the technical stuff but I can''t. What I would say is can you maybe hold off till you get back from your trip before you decide? Its probably not a good idea to buy in a rush. Maybe when you get back WF can send you the diamond to look at and decide then.

Remember that it is visible only in enlarged pics and images. I seriously doubt if it will show up as prominently IRL. I wouldn''t worry if I were you.
But just in case you don''t like it, does the vendor have a good return policy?

Good return and good upgrade policies

I do not know the dimensions but the photo is a simulated pic of your princess cut if it had been at least 1 carat. Does the dark spot look that visible to you. With the sparkle and brilliance I seriously doubt it.
