This pandemic has meant plenty of time at home. I had to stop cooking because I was eating it all! So I have found a project in the bathroom. I love love love stained glass windows and have them throughout the house. We had them professionally made and installed, at great expense except the bathroom. I have an original Art Deco bathroom, it was a main feature for me when I bought the house. It has clear frosted glass windows. Now I could have stained glass windows made and I still might later on but for now I’m doing it myself.
I’m using a window film product. It’s is translucent and has a light adhesive. You can also buy adhesive lead strip to create a very realistic “faux” Stained glass window. So here is my bathroom window prepped for some black paint to make a “frame” and a photo of my template. I designed the pattern all by myself. Updates to follow....
