Last night was Ringo's 70th B-day concert at Radio City Music Hall so we went with a group of friends. We stopped for dinner beforehand and then went to the concert. OMG--you would NEVER believe the guy was 70!! He did a two hour show with Edgar Winter, Rick Derringer and a few other "one hit wonders". The last song was "Give Peace A Chance" and Yoko came out to wail {literally}. She wore a hat that made her look ridiculous. Little Stevie was there from The E Street Band, Dion and other guys I didn't recognize.
Reviewers said he never does an encore but he did last nite--they brought a cake out for him and PAUL MCCARTNEY came out and sang
"Birthday". Obviously the crowd went wild. We stopped for an after concert drink, came home and did some midnight swimming. All in all a fun nite. If you can get to see this show, I highly recommend it.
