I think I have found my stone - 0.8, ex, ex, ex, ex.
t 56
d 59.9
c% 14
p% 43
thin faceted
no culet
no graining
no fluoro

The vendor noted that inclusions are minimal, and appears eye clean due to the spectacular nature of the cut. I am ready to jump on this one (prior he has used terms like ''nice'' on other stones which makes me think this one is truly really good). I thought he had actually seen it (he is a GG), but he mentioned that he would have the stone on Tues and then our call got interrupted due to an urgency at my job. I am about to calll him back, but how does it usually proceed from here? Do I usually pay now or do I wait to pay until he gets it and then reviews it himself? Do people usually ask to send pics of it? Is it proper to ask for sarin or gemscope to get angles?

if you have depths and it''s good on HCA, get Sarin, pictures, Ideal Scope.

Thanks!

No, you don''t pay unless you get to the point of wanting to have it sent to you or to have it set. They should review the stone and give you some of the other mentioned information, certainly photos, and then you can decide. Some vendors do ask that you pay for the shipping to call in the stone and then send it back if you don''t want it. That is why I always tried to focus on in-house stones that already have all the information posted.
