A morbid topic, and I'm sorry but this is on my mind. I'm very much a foodie person, and my text buddies are chiming in with what their last meal would be.

I immediately thought of strawberry pancakes. But white peaches might be a strong second choice.

Anyone else?

Broiled lobster tail and fillet mignon, a baked potato with butter and sour cream, and roasted asparagus tips. That meal would probably give me a heart attack, so it's a good choice for a last meal.;)2

Veggie Lasagna and Cheesecake made/baked by my DH.

Second runner up: Pizza!

if i still have room id have a just picked sweet ear of corn
i love corn but ive had to give it up on the cobb because i had to get 2 front teeth rebuilt
but if its my last meal who cares if a tooth chips so after the steak, id like the corn with freshly cracked pepper and loads of butter
and a nice glass of Allen Scott Marlborough sav blanc, - one of those glasses that holds an entire bottle becausec I'd hate to leave any undrunk :kiss2:

All-you-can-eat Buffet.

'Have you finished now?'

"Almost - just one more plate..."

Hot Foie Gras with caramelized fruit to start.

Confit de canard or steak tartare (I shall do the mixing myself) with a crisp green salad and triple fried chips with mayo.

Créme Brûlée to finish.

A cocktail to start and finish, a large glass of red wine with my main course.

DK :))

ok I'll take my sister's chocolate mouse as well as mum's pavslova
trouble is i like my pav the next day so how long can i stretch this meal out ...
a day old brandy snap or five wouldnt go astray either
i keep thinking of things i enjoyed mum cooking but its been such a long time ago now i think the nation's pallet has moved on somewhat but she used to make crayfish mornay (excuse the spelling) and really good cream of mushroom soup with feild mushrooms and wine and lots of cream
also id like a mushroom sandwich - feild mushrooms cooked in butter with white bread and butter
trouble is last time i had white bread it just tasted so blaaaaa - so empty and devoid of flavor
oh and sometimes for supper (snack before bed) she would spread melted cheese onto white bread - we loved it

California cabernet (Jordan 2013) For starters the Bone marrow on thin sliced bacon grease fried sourdough paired with garden fresh tomato soup or maybe chilled pumpkin soup, then I would have a rare 24 oz rib eye seared with grape tomatoes on top (salt n pepper to taste) crisp green beans and black truffle shiitake mushroom risotto. For dessert it would be New York style cheese cake with whole blueberry toppings along with more wine.

I would want this served overlooking a tranquil lake just right before sundown so I can watch the sunlight play across the water right before dark, then enjoy the stars with my dessert.

i would feed our cats fillet steak

they love Angus beef mince and when im working again im going to serve it to them once a week
meanwhile they get their shear of roast chicken once a week

Crusty bread, salted butter and a really strong cheddar cheese, all washed down with a glass of top notch wine. Simple but punch well above their weight taste-wise!

A pint of ice cream.

OK so a pint? I eat that under normal daily circumstances  lol true! I would say if I am going for ice cream I need a quart at least...:lickout:
And make it Ben and Jerry's Heathbar Crunch please. :appl:
