Anything to not be studying today

You''re supposed to be studying?

Shoo!

2.gif

I know, I know! I''m trying to read about cow bloat and it''s not the most interesting
24.gif

LOL! What would that be....Sharpen that probang??

lol!! Basically it seems that if a cow gets anything, you just have to stick needles in it. I really feel for cows after studying all of these lectures, much prefer my small animal and equine!

Poor things!
7.gif

I know-they really get a hard deal! After this lecture I think I''m going to switch back to my small animal studying-much more interesting to me! How are all of your babies? Manolos new trick is breaking into the fridge and stealing everything tasty in it.

They are all good thanks Auntie Bee, enjoying this beautiful sunny day! Dang flies are out in force on the horses already.

I am glad to hear Mr Manolo is his usual naughty self! How is Mupsy?

You will have to get a lock on the fridge which is paw proof!

Glad to hear that they are enjoying the weather! It''s a fab day today! Mups is doing great. My little sister and her friend took her for a walk on Friday and when I collected her from my parents house she was limping a bit so I think they must have over done it a bit with her. So I''m just resting her at the moment and she seems tons better today. Will take her for a short walk tomorrow. She''s asleep under my desk as I type! Can''t believe she''s 12 next Saturday!
D bought a childproof lock for the fridge earlier today. It''s about the sixth time that he''s broken into it-he stole a chicken that was defrosting in it last week and all you could hear was this thump, thump, thump as he took it up the stairs

Yep there''s no way you can give out to him when he has a full frozen chicken in his mouth-it was hilarious!

EEK, I am not sure that I could eat anything!
But if I had to, it would be something seafood. Maybe some King Crab Legs...Shrimp...or maybe a yummy Linguine with clam sauce
18.gif

And dessert...chocolate mousse.....anything chocolate will do.

Oh and to answer the question - mine would have to be a fabulous fresh salad, really delicate fresh linguine pasta with baby artichokes, and then a sampler of at least 10 different desserts, including chocolate

lol-that''s one word to describe him

It was even funnier when he saw me coming he turned to run but it was too heavy for him to drag quickly so he left it behind as he tore down the stairs to hide.

This question made my husband and me laugh.

For my husband, without a doubt, it would be Chinese food -- probably beef with black bean sauce and fried rice. For dessert he''d choose a parfait (crushed graham crackers at the bottom of the dish, layered with chocolate mousse and whipped cream).

For me, it would be something Italian, most likely. For dessert it would be either a warm brownie sundae or Tollhouse cookie pie, with a graham cracker crust and hot fudge on top.

What are graham crackers? Are they like biscuits? Just can''t imagine chocolate on a cracker

You don''t have graham crackers?? Maybe you do but they''re called something different? They''re light brown crisp cookies that are perforated so you can break them apart pretty easily. They come in a rectangle sheets but you can easily separate them into squares. Over here in the US, they come plain or with cinnamon sprinkled on top.

So, I''m guessing you don''t have s''mores either, huh? Those are graham cracker sandwiches with a toasted marshmallow and a piece of chocolate in between the graham crackers. Heavenly!

I don''t think I could eat anything. Its weird, I was thinking about this the other day. When something bad is happening the first thing to go is my appetite.

Yours sound yummy though!
haha that is what I was thinking whenever I hear of last meals; I could see myself sick to my stomach over what would be happening next.

Either:

Butternut Squash Risotto with Jumbo Bay Scallops

OR just plain macaroni and cheese - the soupy kind from Whole Foods!!

Dessert is tougher... I dunno, maybe s'mores or red velvet cupcakes, a vanilla malt?

That chicken story is hysterical

I''m not sure what I''d want. When I get stressed out or full of anxiety, I completely lose my appetite. I don''t know that I could eat.

Side point- I was visiting my family in Chattanooga a few years ago and went to the Hunter Museum. They had an exhibit that consisted of plates an artist had painted depicting death row prisoners last meal requests. They were mounted on the walls and this huge room was full of plates. Some plates said "No Meal Requested", others had full dinners, some had just dessert, etc. What hit me was how many plates had french fries. Lots and lots of french fries. About two months later they were doing a weekly trivia question on the radio that asked what the #1 requested item for prisoner''s last meals was. I called in- french fries- I won. Ironically, I think it was tickets to a food show if memory serves me correctly.

I would be like Maisie and Skippy, probably sick to my stomach thinking of what would be happening next.

On the other hand, if by chance I could eat it would be Mexican food. Cheese enchiladas, chili relleno, rice and beans, and hopefully margaritas to knock me out.
