Laser cut sapphires ?

I had a customer come in and ask for a Laser cut sapphire he saw at another jewelry store when he was out of town and wondered if I carried any thing like that ?

I must be getting too busy and need to be updated ?

Any help ?

Laser cut tourmaline, quartz, synthetics... but sapphire? Nope.


I hope it was a mistake!

I think it was a misinformed sales clerk, might have been a blue topaz

Actually... one never stops finding surprises

And synthetic white sapphire can be found in similar state, but no idea of online examples. Not my piece of pie...
