Well there was a couple friend that we had. They had been married for a while and had two small kids. I can''t remember how he found out, but she was having an affair and really had no intention of stopping. He was devestated, but not sad. He was angry. Since were were couple friends it was a little difficult choosing sides because this was not the kind of situation where you could remain neutral. It was a really bad situation because neither one of them could afford the house alone. She worked at a nursing home cleaning up after the ederly and so did her new boyfriend. Neither one of them were making any money and soon after it all came out she let loose that she was pregnant with this new guys baby. They were going to have an interracial baby and her entire family disowned her and apparently our friend, her husband said that he was offended that he was of another race. Anyway, he was talking about her and calling her deragatory names and all and then DH started it too, but not as bad. Now I agree that cheating in a marriage is wrong, the fact that it is with someone of a different race shouldn''t matter at all. I got so fed up with them calling her names that I finally stood up for her even though I don''t agree with what she did. The husband, DH and I were sitting around and the husband started bashing her and I finally told him that happy women don''t cheat and although it was wrong she was missing someting in the marriage and instead of being angry with her he should think about why she went elsewhere. DH thought it was harsh and didn''t agree at first, but it makes sense. The husband is no longer friends with us. He did a lot of things that he shouldn''t have and only wanted to blame her and I was tired of it.
I stated that it was wrong of her and that in no way did I agree. But I was tired of hearing him dog her. You can't say that you do not agree to a certain extent. It applies both ways. If a woman cheats or if a man cheats. Of course the one that was cheated on is betrayed and it may not even be their fault that their spouse needed to be gratified in some way that led them astray. Sometimes a man or a woman is the best wife or husband that he/she can be but their partner needs something else that they can't or don't provide. In a very extreme case, fetishes. If one or the other has a strange fetish, lets say the man. The woman is loving, and attentive and does all the things that a man would usually be thrilled about, but she will not do this one thing that drives her spouse into a frenzy then he will leave their bed to find it elsewhere. She was not satisfying him.Date: 12/12/2009 4:25:48 PM

We've already done it. Here's the thread that shows the first Pricescope reaction to the split of Kate Hudson and her husband. It wasn't immediately clear that she had fallen for Owen Wilson.

Kenny, you have a way with pictures.
I had forgotten about that story. Another promising career and life ruined and of course, not only hers. The irony is that she is probably still wearing an orange suit.
Lisa Knowak - I think I have her name correct. She was tried for kidnap and attempted murder of her male colleague''s girlfriend.Date: 12/13/2009 2:44:46 PM

There were two couples at work who always socialized together. After a while, they announced that they'd decided to divorce and marry each other's wife/husband. I guess that it all worked out. After they swapped mates, they stayed married.

...and look at Meredith Baxter (Birney). I just read that she wants the public to know she is a lesbian, although she found out herself a relatively short time ago. She is now 62 and has a 54 (I think) year-old female partner. She was married three times and had five children. She thinks that her having been a lesbian all long probably contributed to the problems she had in her marriages! Sometimes you have to try things out.

She says that she did not know...and I see no reason why she would lie. What was going on with her subconsciously is another matter entirely, however. She said in the interview I read that she had had at least one physical interlude with another woman in the past but brushed it off as meaningless. Obviously she wasn''t doing much soul searching. She also says that she was doing some very heavy drinking for a number of a years, however, and that can certainly keep one from soul searching...from refining the fine points of his life at all.

I heard a snippet of news about her. It''s good news she finally came to the realize her sexuality. Did she know all along and been concealing it? Concealing it certainly would create a few problems.
