My husband has stayed at the Bavaro Princess several times and loved it. I''ve never been.

We stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace, which is the "nice" one of all the Barcelo resorts in Punta Cana. You can go to all of the Bavaro resorts when you stay there, but they can't go to the Palace for dinner etc. They have these little go carts to take you around! FUN!

We liked it, and the rates were very resonable, but we also have low expectations for food and stuff because we know how buffets can be.

Bavaro Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to in my life, and I have been to almsot 20 different islands so that says a lot. You will love it! Stick to Punta Cana rather than Puerto Plata (that's what I heard).

I would go back in a heartbeat.

Jusst keep in mind that what is considered 5 stars there is really 3 or 4 in the US.

Check out resort reviews on line and see what people have to say (Trip Advisor) I think I was there about 6 or 7 years ago.
