LA jewelry district or online for repairs?

Hi,

I got my fiance a e-ring but the jeweler used a white gold head on platinum band. It''s been 8 months now and the head is turning and I now need to get this 4 prong head (it''s a .8 carat round) swapped out for a platinum one. Can anyone recommend a place in the LA jewelry district (as I live very close to it), in LA (as I can drive) or online (I really don''t want to do online though). Also, about how much should I pay for something like this? It''s just a simple/traditional 4 prong head.

spinto, where did you initially purchase your ring? can you take it there to have it fixed?
