Kudos to Union Diamond and Barbara!!

Hi all,

Just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience I had with Uniond Diamond. They were wonderful to work with. Barbara was awesome! She understood immediately that I was a novice and proceeded to walk me through the entire on-line process. She was even good enough to recommend specs and find stones that had decent HCA scores BEFORE sending them my way. What great service, can''t say enough about that. And of course, the stone is as beautiful as she said it would be.
I was planning on getting the custom setting from them as well but, thanks to Barbara, she informed me in a sincere way that I would be bettter off going local due to the complexity of the setting and potential shipping costs. What an honest thing to do. The stone will now be at a local jeweler and I am looking forward to the next step in this process.
I would not hesitate to work with her of Union Diamond again. Thanks

That is great to hear that you dealt with a very honest reputable dealer, and that you told us all about your experience. So many times we only write to a company or complain to others if you got bad service but good service is generally kept to ones self. In the long run I ended up not working with Union Diamond because I found Diamonds elsewhere... But I agree when I did deal with them they were great. Extremely helpful... This was one of the few where I had a good experiance.

I met these guys in Vegas in June and I must say I was impressed with their approach to customer service; going the extra mile.

Well, the setting is something like this. The center stone will be half bezel. I am adding a stone PERPENDICULAR to the center stone and just under. So, there will be three stones in the space used for the center. You can imagine a "V" shape with the two smaller stones down in the apex. They should be .10 I''m thinking. On the sides I outside the center will place round channel set stones about five of them in an upside down "U" shape around the shank.
It''s really hard to describe that''s why I went with a local jeweler.He at lest seemed to understand what I was saying. Pictures also helped. I''ll post some pictures when it''s done. Should be around 6-8 wks. Wish me luck!!
