Know of anything similar?

Someone posted this Dimend Scaasi setting on here a couple of days ago, and I have fallen in love with it, or at least want to add it to my top three list

. However, it is just slightly over the setting budget. While it may still be feasible, I was just wondering if anyone has seen a setting similar to this that may cost a little bit less?? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Having just spent some time in Dimend Scaasi's showroom looking at his settings I have to say they are truly beautiful. So if you don't find a suitable "substitute" and find a way to work the DS setting into your budget it would be $ well spent!

Yes, those settings are custom made, not stock settings. I am probably going with the tiffany repro there, but gosh, they have some of the prettiest settings anywhere! I think I am paying about $300 over the price of the same design at another PS vendor, but I think the quality of this setting is worth it.

that setting is already a knock of of the daniel K rosebud. I''d be surprised if you can find something similar even cheaper.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! For some reason the Daniel K looks different to me, probably the angle of the photo, but dare I say that I like Dimend Scaasi''s version better? That is probably a good thing as those Daniel K''s are rough on the wallet

. On the Dimend Scaasi website it states that you cannot order one of their settings unless you also purchase the stone from them. This worries me a bit too as I had some other vendors in mind, but they have been getting some good reviews on here as of late so I may not want to rule them out. I am assuming that I could probably have another vendor create a similar setting, does anyone know roughly how expensive that could be?

you could probably email a couple of vendors about making something similar but that setting has a very intricate head and I''d guess it would have to be done by hand. All the labor required to set all the tiny stones adds up quickly too. If you love the Scassi one, I''d call them and ask them about setting a stone you didn''t purchase from them. I know a few pricescopers have asked them and they said it''s a case by case basis. I honestly wouldn''t try to have someone replicate something with that much detail.
