Where might I start to search for a jeweler who could replicate rings like these?

Quest in VA has done some gorgeous antique replica rings and also some antique repairs for PS customers that were just fab. If it were ME, that's where I would start.

Coincidentally, I have a ring almost EXACTLY like the second one you posted! It was my grandmother's ering that my mom just gave me last week. It's really gorgeous and I have gotten SOOOO many compliments on it! It has a European cut diamond in the middle and is in plat. Gorgeous.

I haven't had time to do a "proper" photo shoot with it yet, and you can't see how nicely cut the stone is, but it will give you something else to work off of. The more pics of something similar you can show a designer the better!

ETA: I have NO idea why the bottom looks crooked in the pic, it's perfect in person!

*gasp* OMG... that is so similar - and beautiful! The imperfections are part of what I like about these rings.

Thank you so much for the lead on Quest.

I love your ring.. what a treasure.

Those pics look like they''re from singlestone - have you asked Ari for quotes on the setting?

They are. I haven''t asked anyone anything - except here on this site.

I may have to drop in to the San Marino shop. I''m really not anywhere near buying, though!

I second the recommendation of Quest. They repaired an antique ring for me and did a beautiful job.

Singlestone also does custom rings. They did my sister''s ring and you might be surprised at how reasonably they''re priced.

Thanks Cleo and Hest,

I didn''t realize there was so much info about Single Stone here on PS. Since they''re just a few miles away, I''ll definitely explore them.

I''m really interested in old diamonds now. I looked at Old World Diamonds quickly - is it my imagination, or can you get larger stones for less money because they''re not GIA certified? I mentioned in another post that I''m not a stickler for perfection. I do love character, though, and old diamonds seem to have a lot of personality.
