I am so excited! BridalCanvas picked one of my inspiration boards for their weekly contest. PLEASE VOTE FOR IT HERE! It is the one by "kbtanm."

I''m attaching a couple of my inspiration boards/wedding collages here so you ladies can see what I''ve been up to. Some of the elements are inspirational, but many are the details I''ve already chosen for my wedding. For example, the wedding dress you see in a couple of the collages is my dress, the Watters 7094B. It arrived this past weekend (hooray Netbride!), and I''m going for my first fitting today!

The canvas in this post is the one chosen by BridalCanvas for the contest. "Real" elements in this particular collage include the church at bottom left, my lovely bridesmaid modeling the maids'' dress at top left (actual style will be slightly different, i.e. strapless, but color is exactly the same), the bouquet at top left (for me and for the bridesmaids), the invites at top center (most likely), and the potted live phalaenopsis at top right as centerpieces.

Enjoy!

In this collage, real elements include the kermit mum pomanders for the church at top left, the same bridesmaid dress at top center, the potential invite at top left, my dress at far right, and the bouquet in the center. The hair, the cake, the tablescape, the large flower arrangements, and the cocktails will probably look similar, but haven''t been set in stone.

This makes 6/10 of this week''s collages are from PS users!

In this last collage, I have many of the same elements, just arranged a little differently (this was actually the first one I did).

This one does, however, have my e-ring and the wedding band I am very seriously considering, which is a Beverley K bezel eternity band. It has been so hard trying to find a wedding ring that I think will work with my shared-prong e-ring; I am very wary of the e-ring "eating into" a wedding band if they''re worn together, and I know two shared-prong rings together could spell even bigger trouble. The Bev K band I like has a very low profile and will eliminate any diamonds-against-diamonds rubbing, so I think it will be a good solution to the issue. And, best of all, the bezeled RBs look awesome with my e-ring. I would''ve never thought they''d look so pretty until an SA at Tiffany''s made me try on the Jazz band. I was ready to buy the Jazz band, but Tiffany''s said that they did not believe they could make it in my size--then I found the Beverley K ring and fell in love all over. Hopefully FI will agree that it''s perfect!

I forgot to add: please leave your comments or ideas! If there are other fun details you see that might match what I have going, I would love for you creative ladies to post pictures or links.

Thanks!

Do you get anything if you win?

I love the first one, very pretty and sophisticated

You get a $20 gift card to either Starbucks or iTunes. You get to pick. Then the weekly winners participate in a quarterly contest where the price is $200 and then those winners in a yearly contest with a prize of $500. Not bad for making wedding inspiration boards in your spare time.

since you are my sister green and purple girl, I voted for yours!!! I hope you win. I posted mine up there today too.

I forgot to tell you that a couple of weeks ago my fi and I went to Tiffs and tried on the Jazz band with my ring. I liked it, he did not. The SA was not nice and said that i should stick with the same style band and tried to push the novo band on me. So, I decided to get a quote from Leon and it was hands down the least expensive band with the Tacori ranking in at the top, then the jazz, then the novo, then the Leon. Looks like I may just have to get a Leon after all. Sigh...I love the jaz band and the bk band is awesome so if they can make it in your size I may just have to borrow it!

I started a thread for you in who''s who.

Thanks EM1! And also thank you for sharing BridalCanvas with us. I don''t have much in the way of photo-editing programs on my computer (just the bare bones for me!), so it has been much more fun to create the collages on BC than in Paint.

I just saw your collage on BC, and it is absolutely gorgeous! Your wedding is going to be so beautiful. I adore the cake you posted and that purple/green bouquet at the top left. I think you have impeccable taste

I have not looked into having Leon do it--I just assumed his custom work would be out of my price range. He makes such beautiful jewelry! Perhaps I should give him a call.

I've gotten some quotes on the Bev K, and they can do it in my size. I wanted to shop around a little more before I committed to it, but I haven't found anything I like nearly as much. As far as the borrowing goes, I borrowed the Bev K idea from Tacori E-ring. After my disappointment with the Jazz, I remembered her lovely Tessa ring and thought I should call up Pearlman's myself. I also loved the idea of a small sizing bar so I could size my ring up should my finger get bigger later in my marriage.

ETA: I just saw your post about the Who's Who thread, and I am so flattered. Thank you for thinking of me. I'm going on a little trip tomorrow 'til Sunday (I should be packing now, actually!), but I will be happy to share a little more about me when I return. By the way, I'm still working on a potential NYC trip sometime this winter/spring--I'll let you know if anything pans out.

Kitty, I keep meaning to mention how much I love your engagement ring, and I love the band in your inspiration board. They''re beautiful!! I love the collage by the way. The colors are gorgeous!

Thank you so much for your kind words about my ring and my collage. I am so thrilled I''ve found a band that looks good with my e-ring and doesn''t really detract from it (like so many I''ve tried seem to do). I will pass the compliment about the ring onto my fiance--he always looks so adorably sheepish and proud of himself when he hears that sort of thing.

By the way, your avatar makes me smile every time I see it. Those flowers are so gorgeous and colorful!

Okay, I''m now shamelessly asking for your vote on BridalCanvas. The unemployed need Starbucks too! (I can get a Starbucks card if I win

.) That espresso truffle drink is unbelievable--and addictive enough to warrant a warning label.
