Been galavanting through the Christies Magnificent Jewels auction catalog. Save up your lunch money! Some of the estimates seem so low, in fact, I think Christies is playing p.r. games.

I dont know what you eat for lunch, but if I saved up my lunch money for say 80 years I still couldn't place even the opening bid on one of those. I would give up coffee and snacks for a lifetime though if it would get me that pink IIa blob of carbon!

Oh a girl can dream right That pink diamond ring is TDF!!!!!!! I can't completely agree with you that the Bulgari necklace just doesn't do it for me. I'm sort of surprized that was their company to be honest.

I don't like the Bulgari necklace either, Sarahbears. I meant that the necklace overpowers the diamond & isn't very attractive anyway. Could have been set in a much better way.

I'll take two.

I'm going to dissent and say I like the Bulgari necklace. I didn't used to like them at all but I've liked them more and more lately. I think Elizabeth Taylor's interest in Bulgari and in particular her sapphire sautoir made me think twice about their aesthetics.

They'll never be my favorite but I think they're Ok.
