I stole this from Reddit and modified a couple of things, but it's spot. on. Conway is MUCH smarter than Trump and has this down to a science.

Here's how propagandists like Conway win:

- She got the message out that a terrorist attack occurred in the US because of refugees
- She got the message that the media didn't cover it, underscoring their goal to seed distrust of the news in the populous
- Trump supporters/apoliticals may not fact check 1 & 2 (this is the gamble)
- When pressed by the media on what she said, it was vague enough that she can say she was referring to the actions in Iraq
- By doing 4, she can then say again the media is misrepresenting her and further sow distrust of the media
