Hello Everyone-
I don''t know where to start so here it goes.
As some of you know I purchased studs earrings, 2.34 total cw from PS vendor, and I received them 2 weeks ago. Since they don''t come with certification, but the store appraisal, it says the following: G-H color, SI2-I1 clarity, Hears & Arrows in martini setting. I owe you guys ear shots but the problem is that I did not wear them yet. They are sitting in the box. I made an appointment for an appraisal but I started to realize that the inclusions which is visible to the naked eye is bothering me very much. THe other day my friend came to visit and I showed her the studs and she looked at them and it was obvious she saw the inclusion because she started to take it away.. it looks like it is a macara scratch.. Everytime I open the box to look at them, I see the inclusion, even from far! I don''t know if I should return them, I have 30 days, and get clean to the naked eye or just keep them.. I am confused.. The other problem is I am going to Europe in the end of this week will come back in 2 weeks, past 30 days return policy.
Anyone have any thoughts? Does someone have visible inclusions on the studs and are bothered by them as well or is it just me?
Thanks for reading!

If they bother you, return them. It will bug you forever. Call the vendor and ask them to see if there are eye clean ones you can exchange them for.

I''d return them. If something bothers you right away, it''ll likely always bother you.

Absolutely return them, no question about it. If you don''t, you will always regret it. Let your vendor know that eye-clean is very important to you ( as it would be to most people) and get a different pair that you can be 100% happy with.

Good luck!!!!

You've had them for 2 weeks and haven't worn them. That means you're not happy. Return them. No use keeping something you're not in love with and didn't even wear when you got them!!!

Return them and get something eye clean. Why don't you ask the vendor if they can find something with higher clarity?

Return, Return, Return! You need to be happy with them if you are going to wear them. Don''t regret it you can always get a different pair!

Yup, if you haven''t worn them, something is wrong! Return!!!

Echoing all, return them.

Just out of curiosity, did they tell you they were eyeclean? did you ask? I''m not meaning to criticise you at all, just curious.

Return them. You aren''t happy with them and won''t be. Send those puppies back.

I would return them. If they are bothering you now, to the point that you have not worn them, then they will bother you for years to come.

This is why I''m not a fan of split-color, split-clarity grading.

It bothers you to the extent that you haven''t even worn them, and your friend tried to WIPE IT OFF! Yikes.

Return them.

(Once I found PS, I realized my mall/chain-store stones had a big ole black speck in the middle of the table visible with the naked eye. Couldn''t wear them after that - gifted them to mom, who cannot see the speck. Expensive $1300 lesson

Return them! You shouldn''t even be questioning keeping such an expensive set of earrings of you''re not 100% satisfied!

Thanks for your repsonses.
I have not wear them yet because I was waiting to go to the appraisal and waiting for an appointment. When I got them, I really liked them, the next day I saw the inclusion and thought it is a mark or something so I wanted to wipe it off but it did not come out. The stats say SI2 - I1 clarity and it is very visible to the naked eye. Then when my friend saw it and also my husband it bothered me even more.

Ellen- I knew the clarity is SI2 - I1 but I did not think it was soo visible to the naked eye. The size of the diamond is not very small and I think that is why it is more visible.

I will contact the vendor tomorow and see what we can do.
Thank you.

Another vote for definitely return them! Try for SI1 and maybe SI1-2 next time. Or go down in size and get certed stones you can upgrade later.

The studs were upgradeble eventhough they were not certified.

Return them. It doesn''t sound as if they will make you happy, so back they go!
