Hi everyone,
I am about to get engaged and so excited! I am getting a 1.25c, ideal cut, H-I , but I 2 . Is the ideal cut going to help the inclusions to not be so bad? I'm just wondering and thought maybe someone out there might could give me a answer. Thanks.

I am not an expert, just someone who's recently been looking at replacing my engagement ring. I think you will find that I1, I2 is just not as nice as something with less inclusions. I've been looking and yes, I would definitely go up to at least SI1 or SI2 or higher. Go to a jewelry store and ask to compare the stones up close and you will see what I'm talking about. I recently saw some bands with I1 stones, and they are nice, until you hold them next to a higher quality diamond. I don't think I would want an I1 or I2. But not having seen it in person, I guess it's hard to say. Maybe the cut will make up for the inclusions? Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
