it was time that the subject line of the last/most read thread in this particular forum was changed.....and its ok to call me shallow as well.

LOL, I've thought the same thing. Though I might start a thread of my own, see if we can inject a bit of life into this section of the forums! :naughty:

I am such a stick in the mud that I never bothered to read this section until tonite. Travel is worth way more than formal education in my book. Best regards, Lee

i agree that travel is educational! if nothing else it shows what we have in common and it becomes more difficult to demonize
"the other".

bump because i'm really tired of the so-called "property" title showing up on my screen. the thread was deleted but the title remained. sigh. see how long this title stays up!

and a bump just 'cause i'm tired of seeing the same thread at the top of this forum.......... :snore:

well, the unsolicited spam thread is gone! thank you!

Hey, MZ, are there any movies this summer that you're looking forward to seeing that aren't the usual summer blockbuster fare?

oh, thank you for asking!
yes, and I saw it today!
josh whedon's Much Ado About Nothing was a great treat.
perhaps one of the best screen adaptations of 'the bard' that I've seen! I may see it again next week....
I hate it when I see previews and get excited about a film only to be disappointed.
this one was as good as the hype, imo.
hubby loved it also.

Blancanieves was also very good [Spanish and very different take on snow white, done in black and white and silent].

MZ, thanks for the recommendation on "Much Ado." I'll have to put it on the must see list. I hope our local theater (which does some interesting programming) decides to beam it in.
