Hi Lorelei, what do you mean by good image? :-) What are you looking for when you view an IS? Do you see at the center of the diamond the spec of black? I had the sales rep speak to Julianna at JA. The feedback I got was that the diamond without a doubt is eye-clean. Just want to make sure before I pull the trigger today. Thanks!

What I look for is good optical symmetry ( which we have) and that the diamond doesn't show leakage ( which it doesn't) so this image is a good one to me. Its hard to tell from that image but it is possible the diamond is slightly painted which can enhance desirable visual properties, should not be a problem if so as the IS looks good. I see the wee speck of black, if Julianna says it is eyeclean then I would tend to trust that, although it is only speculation on my part whether you would see that speck in real life, my guess is not.

More on IS below.

You are very welcome and thanks for you kind words, much appreciated! I have really enjoyed my years here and look forward to being of help to many more in the future!

Looks good to me too.

Thanks Stone-Cold11, you too have been a big help. You found this stone for me :-)

No prob. Glad to be of help. :)

Good luck. :)

Just received the stone from JA. Very impressed with the one day shipping, service, packaging, etc. The diamond looks good with my anal 20/15 eyes :-) BUT, I am going to head down the street to GIA to have the diamond verified to the report I was given. If it does check out I''m going to have the ID lasered on the diamond for my security. Just feel like once its set, cleaning, etc I''ll always be able to verify its mine with a loop. Do you guys agree? The verification is $50 + $16 for the laser, I feel that''s fair.

Sound good but don''t really care for the lasering. Those can be polish off easily and lasered just the same in another stone.

Best way to id your stone is to learn how to use your loupe to view and identify the inclusions present, those are the stone''s fingerprint, each is unique.
