Just wanted to give a little praise to Brian Gavin Diamonds.

I just came back from Fedex with my (well mine for a couple of weeks then it will be hers) Brian Gavin Blue in a modified eternal grace setting.

It's an I VS2 and it is absolutely stunning. Puts out all kinds of sparkles. I couldn't be happier with it. Well maybe if I could have gone bigger lol. I need to pick up a little blacklight because I want to see this thing glow :D

The modified eternal grace setting is also better than I even imagined. The CADs didn't do it justice.

Brian Gavin Diamonds was extremely friendly and helpful the entire process. It only took 3 weeks from ordering to receiving it and that included CADs. It might have even been a couple of days sooner but I delayed it a little getting the ring size since this is a complete surprise.

Glad to hear you're so happy with the purchase! Enjoy it. As a side note, you'll probably pull it out and stare at it repeatedly until you give it to her. At least, that's what I'd do.

Without pics... it never happened.

PICS NOW!!

Great to hear you are so happy... but as Titan says --- this is worthless without pics!!! Post the BGD glamour shots..something... just don't leave us hanging!! ;))

Ok you twisted my arm.

They included white gloves so I don't get finger prints on them lol.

I'll include a few glamour shots and one bad cellphone shot I took myself. I'm going to try to get some better shots at home with a real camera later.

BEAUTIFUL!!! It is gorgeous!!! What a beautiful combination and I love the delicacy of the setting! Awesome choice - now - when will we get the finger shots?? (we are just never satisfied, eh??)

lol. I'm going to TRY to hang on until a trip towards the end of September.

The melee is a very nice touch! :appl:

It's stunning!

I'm a big fan of solitaires. Simplistic and they show off the true beauty of the diamond.

Well done! :appl:

Absolutely beautiful! Well done! :appl:

Beautiful! I love that line of melee in the gallery area! Good job! I've seen some ring boxes that come with a light. I'm wondering if you can take that apart and replace the light with a UV light? That would be a pretty awesome way of presenting the ring!

I definitely won't be using the BGD box for the proposal. It is a beautiful box and I'll end up giving it to her but there isn't a pocket big enough for that thing lol. I ended up finding a perfect smaller box that has an inside meaning to us. If I could add a little UV light to it thought that would be cool. Hmm

I love the solitaire look but wanted just a little something special and the eternal grace was perfect with the small accents around the gallery. Not enough to take away from the center stone but just enough to add some interest.

I'm sure you can figure that out! Buy a tiny little UV light pen, and even just tape it to the top at an angle so that it shines on the ring when it's open. If you have more time or dedication, you can sew (or glue) a black fabric over the top of the box with the pen in between, and a slit for that pen's light to shine through.

http://blingthering.com/shop/ for ideas.

^Those boxes are probably just as bulky as your BGD box, and you really don't need a light other than for the proposal. But you can use that for an idea. Find a smaller ring box, and attach the light so it is placed like the BlingTheRing boxes.
