Hey everybody! I’ve been meaning to get around to satisfying my curiosity about something for a few years now and finally decided to try to make it happen tonight! I picked up this really lovely silk (99% sure, haven’t done a burn test to identify the fiber! Textiles major/nerd here!) scarf in a thrift shop about 4 years ago, and it seems to feature a logo, but for the life of me, I have not been able to identify it. Is it a Dior knockoff? Something else completely obscure?

It’s not a big deal whether it’s designer, but I really love it and have always wondered what it was, or was trying to be... I usually keep it tied around a handle of a Longchamp duffel, but I’ve also worn it as a headband. I love the colors! I know the supersleuths on PS are all about this kind of thing (well, they used to be—that may have changed) so I thought I’d post it here.

It does have a (seemingly) hand-rolled and stitched finish, so if it’s a copy at least they tried...LOL.
ETA: I steamed it right before photographing so that's a wet spot from steam, not a stain!

Hi Monarch, I don't know it, but you could ask Anna of My Small Obsessions on Facebook. She knows a lot about fashion. Alternatively there are a lot of fashion bloggers you could ask. Or why not just email a photo to the folks at Vogue? If anyone would know, it would be Anna Wintour!

It's a gorgeous scarf. Let us know if you find out anything!

Gucci and Chanel lock letters but I’ve e never seen Dior do it. It’s quite beautiful.
