I had a look of my loose stones today (I should get them set) and I was amazed how similar the stones look in color. I know color is not graded face up, but just guess that is the difference of color between these diamonds. How many grades apart are they and which is the whitest? Pictured near window on a cloudy day.
These are always fun threads - but differences in angles of photography, and even settings on the monitors for different individuals can really come into play. But I hope people participate for the fun of it all!
Heh - I'm not doing a happy dance yet; it was just my suspicion, but it's entirely likely I'll be completely wrong, too! To me, the emeralds look more glassy and from the first picture it looks like there might be a TINY bit of a tint in the upper facets of the cushion.
Of course, I say all this and maybe it turns out the cushion is a much whiter color, so who knows.
The emeralds are both E and the cushion is K. My eyes are picking color the same as in these photos and I was quite surprised that the _relative_ difference is not bigger. They are 5 color grades apart!
