What''s the opinion of black and red for the reception colors? I''m worried that the colors will be too dark for a summer wedding. We won''t be getting married outside, and I''m figuring that since it''s an evening wedding/reception then the dark colors will be okay. But just wanted to see what everyone else thought. Also the reception will have a Hollywood/Movie theme..so the red and black goes along with that.

Bridesmaid dresses would probably be black as well.

I think it''d be very classy. Black is year-round, and while red is more holiday to me it totally fits with the movie theme. Without the movie theme, I''d think twice about it, but with the movie theme it''s fine I think. What''s your date? Mine''s June 20, 2009! More June 2009 brides, yay!
