I have date twins! Hello date twins!

Man, its still sinking in that I''m getting married so soon!

We still need to get our church paperwork taken care of. We are currently waiting for the forms from the priest. Then we can get into a Pre Cana class.
We also need to pick some flowers to make the bouquets and order them.
Um... picking out cardstock for invites tomorrow night and then my graphic designer friend is going to work on them. Hoping to print next week so we can send them out, even though everyone we are inviting (33 people) already know about it and have told us they are coming.

The other stuff to be taken care if is small. I need a post wedding party dress still. Rehearsal dinner outfit and e-pics outfit.

Oh yeah... PHOTOGRAPHER. Still don''t have one but have two meetings next week.

Uuuuuggghhh! I passed my 3 month mark yesterday and I still have SO much left to do! And with work, school, and my dad still in the hospital it''s just getting to be a little TOO much! I''m getting way too stressed out! Bahaflhashh!

I have most of the big things done, but we''re still looking for an officiant. Although yesterday FI and I were talking about how we feel it''s so impersonal to have some random person MARRY us and how we wish we knew someone who could do it (other than his mom and my ex...) and he suggested his cousin! His cousin would be PERFECT and we can totally imagine him doing it. He''s gonna call him this weekend and see if he''d be up to getting licenced (or whatever it is..??) and officiating our wedding! I hope he says yes.

I''m also waiting on my dress to come in... I ordered it in November and they said that it would be in Mid-March. I called last week on Tuesday because I was curious and they said it wasn''t in yet but that it was supposed to ship on the 19th. So that was over a week ago and I hadn''t heard anything yet so I called today and they said that it did in fact ship on the 19th and that they''re expecting it any day now. I''m getting so nervous about it! I keep having nightmares that it''s not the dress I ordered, or I hate it and it''s SO ugly. I''m so anxious about it!

Still need to get invitations done. I''m DIY-ing them and it''s taking forever... But hopefully they''ll be done by next week so I can have them stamped and ready to go by mid-April.

Still need to get veil, accessories, etc. for wedding day
Order linens
Figure out flowers for centerpieces, bouquets, etc.
Make OOT bags
Make favors
Get the guys to get off their butts and buy their suits!!!
Get my girls off THEIR butts and order their dresses!

Oh gosh I know there is SO much more than that but I don''t even want to think about all that I have to do.

Anyway... GOOD LUCK TO ALL MY FELLOW JUNE BRIDES! I have faith we can get it all done!!!

Sorry for the stress oopsie!

-Pick out cake flavors
-Make OOT bags/boxes
-Get girls in for dress alterations
-Get BM shoes
-Finish invites and send them out the end of next month
-Make favor donations
-Programs?

hmmm lets see

all thats left is to decide on a cake
put together the program
make menus
make the programs
playlist for reception
slideshow for the reception
pay the remaining balances
get wedding bands
pass/mail out invitations

oph and graduate may 10th!!!

i got my invitation (aka approval for graduation friday) to take part in our commencement ceremony which is huge since im the first in my family to graduate or even go to college so it was super important to me to get my BA before i get married im soo exited!!!

I''m 10 weeks from TODAY.

Still need
-clothes for groom
-ties for groomsmen
-wedding rings!!
-MY SHOES. still. this has proven a much more difficult task than i thought it would be.
-jewelry for me, and the BMs
-music list
-mail invitations (get stamps first..)
-candy for favors
-decide between white or colored linens
-give photo list to photographers
-get guest book

Do I need to do something for OOT guests?
What does everyone think about having disposable cameras on hand for guests to take their own photos?

I''m a little worried because my dress is supposed to come in any day now (they said probably ~8 weeks before the wedding), and I''ve gained a few pounds since I bought it... hmph. I guess add to my list -Do 30 Day Shred religiously.

sara- yea i have two more papers and two finals at the end of april and then im officially finished!!!

We have a lot to do as well. We''re in the middle of making the invites now. Still have to get a florist and get the car sorted. Also have to get the mass booklets done and meet up with the priest to sort out readings etc.
Can''t think of anything else at the moment but the invites are the main thing stressing us out!

Hey Big T

For shoes, I recommend going to shoes.com They had a great selection, and have free shipping and free returns. That is where I got mine from and they were quick with both shipping and crediting returns to my card

Thanks for the tip, dcgator! I will try shoes.com. I keep ordering shoes (from Zappos, from JCrew) but none of them seem to be the ones. Here are the latest I need to send back - too shiny, I think!

Thank you DG!

I''m June 20. My to-do list makes me want to weep and hide in a corner. The things on my mind are:

- printing invites
- booking hotel
- picking out wedding bands
- sending shoes and FI''s ring back
- SHOES (bane of my existence right now)
- finding shower dress
- making BM tanks for the bachelorette party
- finishing photo guestbook
- figuring out DIY centerpieces
- losing weight/toning up
- reception playlists

Its amazing how much happens in the course of a few days when you only decide 3 months before you''re getting married to walk down the aisle!

Today we got into a Pre Cana class and picked out cardstock to print out invites. I also looked at the first version of a proof for the invites from my graphic designer friend and we talked to the print house for the university I go to (and she works for) about getting everything professionally printed. I also booked my first fitting appointment for just after I get my dress. I will have just under a month to get it altered so I figured I should make my appointment now. I also got supplies to make our "favors" which are basically just hand written notes to each person attending our wedding (33 people) thanking them for coming and for being supportive friends/family/whatever applies.

Just realized I need to figure out some sort of neato "guest book" type thing. I really like MMM''s quilty patch idea so I might have to borrow that one.

What a day! Tomorrow I am going to put in the order for the flowers.

BigT: Can I see your dress too? Maybe I can help you find something special. Any requirements for shoes?

Mamie: See the above post. I definitely had luck with shoes.com, but would also be happy to help you too

Dreamgirl: Yeah for PS friends! I am so happy that I have you all to help keep my sanity and get the oh-so-valuable advice from. THANKS!

YAY!

June 20, checking in! I have been avoiding this thread because it makes me realize just how much I have to do (as I sit here at work addressing invites . . . ).

I got some important things done recently: found my shoes (they''re Charles David from endless.com), scheduled my second fitting (tomorrow!), ordered and received the invites (now addressing them), ordered and received FI''s wedding band (it fits perfectly!), and ordered my wedding band today!

Next up: addressing, be-ribbon-ing, stuffing, and mailing all these invites. Then I''ll think about the million other things left to do!

Hi all! June 27th, here! I feel like I''m in fairly good shape, with most of the biggies done. Here''s what I have left:

-Finish addressing invites and mail them
-Buy candy and scoops for candy buffet, we''ve just started that process
-Get fiance to decide if he''s asking his little cousins to be flowergirls, or if we are not having flowergirls
-Buy tuxes for our ring bearers
-Premarital classes
-Last details on bridesmaids gifts
-Usher gifts
-Ceremony programs
-Mom''s dress, which we are shopping for on Saturday
-Send my ring in early June to have custom band made

HUGE relief to me that Pearl''s Place made themselves a HUGE nuisance to Marisa and got my dress only a week after I called them and asked for a rush order!!

Should be in my hot little hands later this week or on Monday/Tuesday! So now I know I will have plenty of time to alter the gown. Woo!

I also found out that WF is shipping the two bands I ordered on Thursday. I will sadly have to send one back but I couldn''t make a choice based on seeing them online.

I''ll certainly be starting a SMTR thread asking for PS help with my choice!
