If I were this girls's parents I would be happy for them to try anything that will prevent another family from having to go through this.

Then you're better off coming up with more ideas and better solutions.

He was deported 5 times and came back. He knows how to get around the system, around the law. If you think a wall is going to stop this, you're delusional.

How did this person most likely get through - a gap where there is no separation between Mexico and the US.

Well, I would certainly think building a better barrier would stop him or slow him down enough so that the border patrol can catch him.

Lol.
Okay ruby. I'm sure none of these illegals are more sophisticated than you are giving them credit for.

Too bad that doesn't include all the illegal border crossings on the north border

Actually from what I am reading it seems to be the other way around that illegals are jumping the US boarder and coming into Canada.

that's what I meant lol.

Well, apparently in Canada, the police cooperate when an illegal breaks the law.

I think you misunderstood what the article said, though it was pretty vague, but I get your point.
http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/security-securite/rem-ren-eng.html from the actual cdn gvt

We've had 200+ people illegally cross into Manitoba. Just as an example, it was -18F last night there. And that's not even considered cold for them!! These people are literally risking their lives to get away. When they are 'caught' they are given food, blankets, a check up. Just a different mentality. Many of these people will be putting in for refugee status in Canada.
