Jonathon Strange and Mr. Norrell

Has anyone else read this? I just finished it yesterday and loved it!

It's set in 19th century England and is written in period style. The plot concerns two men trying to bring magic back into common usage in England.

I found it a little slow at the start but by the end I couldn't put it down.

One of my favourite books, I read it at least once a year. I didn''t want it to end I loved it so much.

Can you imagine a movie/mini series??

I really liked the idea. The beginning of the book is wonderful, but I thought it got bogged down and way too slow in the middle and then the ending picked up the pace again.
