We have been searching for three oval stones for a 25th anniversary gift for my wife. Based on suggestions here, we contacted Jonathan at GOG. He found this main stone and evaluated it as Wow, wow, wow. The side stones match perfectly.

I''d love to have feedback from the pricescope mavens.

Now we just need a setting for a small finger.

What do y''all think, wow, wow, wow?

2 set with center wow WOW wow :}

I like the first set with the center stone they would rock but the second set is just a tiny bit a better match.

Wow...that is going to be some ring! I like the second set better also (they are all pretty though). I see a little more darkness through
the bow-tie area of the first set.

I would talk to Leon Mege, BGD or Mark Morrell for a setting.

Picture something like this (but I would probably skip the pave diamonds down the band).

That diamond is definitly a winner!

I'm voting with the others. WOW! I think the second pair looks better with the center, as well. That is going to be some ring!

Thanks for the comments, hopefully others will weigh in.

The setting that we need to match other jewelry would be a simple yellow gold ring but we haven''t seen photos online of basic settings. The diamonds should be able to speak for themselves. I guess the issue is the basket height required for the stone size vs. the small ring size. Are there any web sites for us to check to see settings?

I'm thinking you are going to have to have this custom made due to the size of the stones and the fact that
three stone oval settings are probably hard to come be. Ask Jon and see if he can offer any advice.

IMO these stones deserve a custom setting!

Edit - here are stuller settings that come in gold but I dont know how big your stones are (I still think you should
go custom

EDIT AGAIN...
Mark Morrell works in gold and does beautiful work...go to the bottom of this page and there are some links
to some of his work (most of it is in plat because thats whats popular right now).

yes wow wow wow.. I was drooling over that stone yesterday.

New photos are posted with DiamXray and non-microscopic diamond photo: http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/6229/. How does the DaimXray look?

My wife wears a 4.5 ring. She wants an 18 carat yellow gold with either white gold or platinum prongs. Due to the small ring size we are looking for thin trellis. So far Sarah at GOG found this custom yellow gold/platinum prongs for $1700(see attached file)

We also saw a non-custom http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-ring-platinum_5922?rf=pd# that is not exactly the right size but it is platinum so the gold version should be much less. Another that is made for small stones but looks about right http://www.bluenile.com/diamond-anniversary-ring-gold_5925?rf=pd

Is $1700 in the ballpark or should we be able to find a non-custom for $1000 or less?

Vatche trellis rings are fabulous! The wires of the basket are delicate but done well, and the 18k yellow shanks are rich and smooth as butter!!! I have tried the three stone version, but I am speaking by experience.
