Job Question - Wine Sales Rep

I have been considering a job with a wine distributor. I don''t know anyone in this field.... Do any of you work in this field or position, or know someone who does?

I know of one couple who both have made a VERY good living in the liquor distribution industry. They are the aunt and uncle of one of my girl friends, and unfortunately I don''t have much insight to add besides how they''ve made their living and that it''s turned out very well for them.
