My breakup playlist is very emo kid.

Brand New - Play Crack The Sky

The Get Up Kids - No Love

Taking Back Sunday - You''re So Last Summer

Ludo - Good Will Hunting By Myself

Brand New - Jude Law and a Semester Abroad

The Academy Is... - Down and Out

Taking Back Sunday - A Decade Under The Influence

This song cracks me up! That''s probably bad, but the rant in the middle is hands down one of the funniest things ever. "...that really makes you an empowered individual. Oh wait, did I say empowered individual? I meant two-cent gutter ****"

Haha, yeah. I laugh at that part, too.

The entire Anna Nalick album, Wreck of The Day.

Please, please, please...buy it! It is so beautiful...and it saved me, so I can attest to the healing powers of it.

True story... I heard Beyonce''s "Irreplacable" on the radio in the car... I unlocked his door and told him never to call me again. I still laugh about it to this day. Not a serious relationship, just about two months I think.

As far as the sad one in college, I actually made an entire CD for a breakup and I would paly it just to cry. LOL!! How dramatic

I should see if I can rummage up that old ball of joy.

To make my links clickable I right-click in the URL box (or whatever it''s called), click Copy then I paste it in my post. When I copy and pasted your link it worked just fine.

To name the link something else just highlight it and start typing. I have to type without spaces first then add in the spaces afterwards or else only the first word is clickable. I''m not that computer savvy!

When I go to write an answer, a whole lot of little boxes come up just above the writing space. The extreme right box has a picture of the world, and a chain link on it.

Click on that box. (normal left hand single click)
A little box will come up, asking you to put in the text you want to show. Fill that in eg link or click here

(this will automatically become the underlined text that clicks through to your page)

Then, after you''ve clicked OK, the next box comes up asking you to put in the actual www address. click ok, and you''re away!

this is the text I want to show the world

'And So It Goes' by Billy Joel (total wallowing in self pity, my heart was shreded to pieces song...but gorgeous!)
LOVE this song. Never gravitated towards it during a breakup, but it is amazingly beautiful. Good choice!
36.gif

The song that stands out the most in my mind as being a breakup song is "If You're Not The One" by Daniel Bedingfield. My ex had broken up with me really nastily, telling me he'd cheated on me and blamed it all on me, even though he had previously talked about us being forever (talked marriage and stuff). So, I was stuck in this awful angry-confused-heartbroken-angry spiral trying to deal with it with him calling non-stop after he told me to apologize and tell me to scream and yell at him, and then while driving home from somewhere (work?), this song came on the radio. It was just the day after, and the words hit home exactly how I felt, and I started sobbing uncontrollably and had to pull the car to the side of the road to let it out before I was able to drive again (like half an hour later). For YEARS, I couldn't listen to this song without feeling empty inside.

Click for sad and confused breakup song.

Okay.. I''m gonna show my young age by saying this but.. Decode by Paramore is a GREAT song. I don''t care what anyone says, her voice is flawless to me, I''m in awe every time I hear this! Not to mention it''s a great break up song.

DISCLAIMER! This song is from the Twilight movie soundtrack. Which is not how I heard this song. I''m not THAT young! LOL.

I'm going with I Would've Loved You Anyway by Trisha Yearwood You Tube Link

I'll also Add Emotion by Destiny's Child You Tube LinkYou Tube Link

The last one is What I Really Meant to Say by Cyndi Thompson YouTube Link
These songs were constantly played during my breakup with my ex of 4 years. Country music is good for breakups.

This song is not really a breakup song, per say, but when my ex was trying to get back with me and had a gf (scumbag), I played this a lot. I weighed everything out about what would happen if we got back together many times to this song. My Heart Can't Tell You No by Rod Stewart (Can't find on youtube)

I freakin love Paramore! Um, and I'm REALLY into Twilight. I have the soundtrack on my mp3. I work-out to it everyday. And I'm 25. I'm a nerd, what can I say!

Oops, meant to quote you Feralpenchant.

Hehe, I didn''t mean it in a bad way! Aw now I feel bad. All the 14-15 year old girls around here are crazy for it. I''ll admit, I haven''t seen it, but you may have just made me want to! I thought it was a much younger generation I guess!
