I had been looking for a good jewelry cleaner, but I couldn''t get an ultrasonic because my wedding set has a bunch of pave. I read some very good reviews of the Salton Jewelry Spa here on PS, so I was looking for one of those. However, no matter where I looked online, everyone was completely sold out of them!

Fortunately, I was able to find what looks like the exact same machine at www.frontgate.com! I ordered it back in June, but it was backordered at the time, so it just got here today. I''m still reading the instructions, but I''m planning on playing with it some tonight. I''ll be back to let you all know how it goes!

Just wanted to mention this, in case someone else is looking for the Salton Jewelry Spa and is having trouble finding one!

OK, I used it for the first time last night and . . . WOW!!!

I don''t think my jewelry was this clean when it was brand new! My e-ring especially . . . it has a lot of "nooks and crannies" where dirt gets trapped and is usually pretty hard to get out. But after just one trip through the Jewelry Spa, it''s completely spotless! I would definitely recommend this thing! Here''s the link: http://www.frontgate.com/jump.jsp?sort=-1&itemID=12837&itemType=PRODUCT&AS=1&keyword=jewelry%20cleaner&page=1

Hope this was helpful!

I WANT ONE OF THOSE!!!!!!! my ring is encrusted with pave.. i can''t use the ultrasonic???

CBS102~

I have a lot of pave too. My wedding band is a pave eternity band, and my e-ring also has a little bit of pave. From what I understand, those of us who have pave should NOT use an ultrasonic cleaner, because of the "shaking" that goes on in an ultrasonic. Evidently, that can loosen the settings and you can lose a diamond out of your pave.

However, the Jewelry Spa uses an "electro-chemical bath" instead of ultrasonic. I was paying close attention last night when I was using the cleaning cycle on mine, and there is absolutely NO shaking or vibrating whatsoever. So, I feel confident that this thing is completely safe for pave . . . and gets it really clean, too!

Now how big is this thing??? can i store it??? also, my E-Ring is white gold.. will that effect the coloring??? good to know in regards to the shaking!!!!!! lately i have been using a baby toothbrush!!

I had been using the Connoiseur''s Jewelry Cleaner, which comes with a teeny little brush. That was working OK, but not great, and I really wanted something that would do a better job of getting the dirt out of my e-ring. This thing is FABULOUS!

All my stuff is yellow gold, so I don''t have first-hand experience, but it says it''s 100% safe for white gold. Also, it really isn''t all that big. It lives on my kitchen counter, right next to our coffee maker. We have a pretty small coffee maker, and I would say the Jewelry Spa is about the same size as our coffee maker. It closes up very nicely for storage when you''re not using it. Also, all the little tools (tweezers, strainer, and scoop for cleaning powder) store in a little compartment on the side. It really doesn''t take up very much space!
