Jewelry shopping in Taiwan

Hey guys...

I''m vacationing in Taiwan for the next 3 weeks (been here a week already and stuffed to the brim with yummy food!)... Anyone know of any good places to shop for jewelry? The only relatives i have here are my paternal grandparents, and they don''t care too much for jewelry.

I''m staying in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Taipei, but the taxi goes everywhere. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Taipei101 (the tallest building n the world) is a must see and has all the main brands you can possibly think of. Do expect to pay a arm an a leg for it though.

I''ve been there already and wasn''t too impressed. It felt so cramped and clausterphobic inside. I did see some nice jewelry tho, and it did cost an arm and a leg.

Do you know of any good local jewelers?
