How do the most well known PriceScope vendors (GOG, ERD, etc.) ship their jewelry to their customers? How well is it packaged? Does it come in a nice box?

I've bought from GOG and WF.

GOG sent FedEx I "believe" (been awhile), to my door. Packaged very well. Nice chestnut colored, lacquered wooden box.

WF uses FedEx, again packaged very well. However, they will not ship to your door, only to a holding station. The only downside to them. Nice black, lacquered wooden box.

As one of the etc.''s I can only speak for myself. Fedex on request, otherwise USPO. All items securely double boxed and enclosed in a nice display box suitable for gift wrapping. We will even gift wrap it for you if you like, but no one ever lets us do that, they want to see the gift before they wrap it.

I would be very surprised if any of the vendors, even the less well know etc.''s did not use nice display boxes and double box them for Fedex shipping and appropriately package them for USPO shipping. We all buy secondary insurance since Fedex only insures to $100 in spite of the fact they are quite happy to charge you based on the value of your box if you tell them the value.

We have not used UPS for years so I can not speak to their policies.

Wink, GOG, WF and Pearlman''s send theirs in beautiful boxes. Some are plain black, others polished wood or black lacquered wood. All are double boxed and double wrapped in bubble wrap style envelopes. Most vendors choose Fedex although a few have used USPS.

Hmm, I wonder if anyone has ever been disappointed with how it''s been packaged......
