Jewelry repair in the bay area - Joe Escobar?

What San Francisco bay area jeweler would you recommend to repair a channel set princess band? Last week I looked down at my hand and was horrified to see an empty space where there used to be a side diamond in my engagement ring. I bought it from Diamond Brokers of Florida, but would prefer to get it repaired locally. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm in the South Bay, so I'm considering Joe Escobar, though I'm willing to drive farther if it means working with a good bench.
