Is there anyone here who has purchased insurance on their rocks in Singapore?
I am sending my stones to the US to be reset and the jeweler has requested that I purchase insurance on the stones. I asked around but no one seems to insure their jewelry here. I checked out QBE and Chubb, and they wouldn''t insure knowing that I was fedex-ing the stones to the US for resetting.
What can I do if no one is willing to insure my jewelry? Would it be possible for me to send the stones over without insuring them?
Any advice will be much appreciated!
