I was at my Vet''s office the other day and it was full of patients coming and going. One lady had her dog, Lilly Pearl, decked out in jewelry....a large flashy collar with her name spelled out in rhinestones, etc.

Do you have fancy jewelry for your pets? I would love to see.....

I wouldn''t call it ''fancy'' but both of my boys (cats) have a silver bell with embossed patterns over them (bit like mill grain?) on their collar. We brought them back from Bali when we were on our honeymoon. They are really cute and different but subtle as well.

My girls just wear their embroidered collars and leashes (which I think look pretty spiffy) but every time we take the babies to the Petsmart groomer, we see loads of dogs with the fanciest collars and/or charms hanging from their collars. I''m definitely going to buy them something sparkly to add to their collars. They deserve it! (Just not real, like some people do). I have a few websites saved. I''ll post what I buy for them.

I have bunnies - I don't think they would appreciate wearing anything, even if it were jewelry. Haha.

In general, I'm not the type to dress up pets or give them flashy collars. I prefer a pretty brown leather collar.

Nope, no jewelry here. The dogs just have their ID tags on their collars.

Not unless the dog license counts.

I think I posted this before, but since you asked . . .

I thought it was ridiculous but my SO bought these for the girls.
Real gold, probably 14K, and diamonds.
They were on sale for something like 75% off and he couldn't resist.

The cut quality of the microscopic diamonds could not be worse.

(I'm such a snob.)
I tried to buy a few ACA melee but WF wouldn't sell them loose and even a modest project from them was too expensive.

Yup, that was me! I met a local jeweler in dog training class one night and the first thing I noticed about her was her HUGE RB solitaire. Gorgeous.
And after I approached her to talk about her ring, that was when I noticed the dog's pierced ears. She was sporting decent-sized RB studs.

Our pup doesn't have any jewelery, but she does have an awesome collection of costumes for the yearly Botanic Garden Halloween parade. She went as a French maid last year.
