It depends on how many items you have @nala if there's only a few things - I usually wear tights that have pockets, pop them in a pouch and slide them in there.
I think it really depends on what exercises you do as well. But yeah it is a bit annoying to have to take off but you don't want to run the risk of damaging it or have it stolen.
It would be CrossFit and weight lifting. I wear my E ring, 2 bracelets and one rhr. A necklace and pendant.

Also, gloves will not protect fingers against this! Seeing metal rings at the gym literally makes my skin crawl. If CrossFit and weightlifting (as in Olympic lifts)….I would not wear anything except earrings. CrossFit is going to have you in a front rack for cleans and front squats. You’d also hit that position in push press, push jerk, military press/overhead press. That will destroy a necklace. Bracelets may or may not be wearable during this but if you wear wrist wraps, factor that in.
Necklace/pendant also not a great idea for chest to bar activities and there will be a lot of that. If the necklace or pendant is long enough to fly up and hit you in the mouth or face, it has the potential to chip your teeth during jumping activities like double unders.
Definitely no rings, you will destroy them. It’s also not safe (degloving is a thing but please do not google it).
So….yeah. Earrings. Small ones.

Avid CrossFit gal here. I wear earrings and my Love bracelet which I cover with a sweat band or my grips wrist wrap. I would not wear rings at all unless it’s a pure cardio workout with no bars or dumbbells etc involved. Look up degloving. It’s not worth the risk to you or your jewelry. The RingHero is something I’ve used but the safest is removing completely and storing in a safe location.
Saw this after I posted! All this 100% yes, but I googled degloving after a coach gave me a talking to about wearing my ring. Never wore my ring to CrossFit again. And stay with CF and your necklaces may not fit any more at 16 inches—I never wear them anymore.
Lmao at the necklace part of this—it is SO true. I train in more of a powerlifting style and my traps are massive. For necklaces, 17.5 is as short as I can go.
If you really want to wear a ring look at the silicone options. I like Enso rings. They have bands that look like actual metal. They will break if necessary to save your finger.
